Brenda Davidson Shaddox is a woman from San Antonio, Texas in the United States who has been involved in various aspects of environmental projects. She earned her degree at the university of Texas.
She has worked on bird relocation projects from the Colorado Department of Wildlife, taken part in plant studies for the United States Bureau of Land Management and otherwise been involved in various programs to further protect the natural world.
As a traveler / photographer, she has been to both arctic regions as well as all major European countries, on African safaris, to China, India, SE Asian countries and many island nations. She is a mountain climber, fisher-woman, mycologist, wildlife photographer-in a world, a true naturalist.
In 1998 she first came to Myanmar as part of a research project on the Ayeyarwady river dolphins. During that trip, she came to love Myanmar and it's people and has returned every year since, travelling throughout the country to enjoy our many natural beauties.
She works to inform herself about our culture, our natural heritage, our history. While she may not be a typical tourist, she brings with her a vast   knowledge of what the traveler hopes to accomplish when visiting another country.
