The Asian Cultures Museum and Educational Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, USA was host to a four month long exhibition of Myanmar images by noted writer/photographer Brenda Davidson-Shaddox of San Antonio, Texas, USA.

Davidson-Shaddox visits Myanmar annually and does extensive research to help her understand the diverse cultures in Myanmar. She travels throughout the country, photographing life as it is and as it has been throughout the ages.

From the southern tip of the Delta Region to Hkakaborazi on the Chinese border, from the Thai frontier to the Indian Ocean, India and Bangladesh, Davidson-Shaddox captures the heart and spirit of the land and its people. Remote ethnic tribes, wild rivers, untamed natural areas and the people who inhabit them, as well as the excitement and bustle of urban life, are represented in the sensitive images of Davidson-Shaddox's work.
